The Outlaws returned to action against an under-manned but very game Western Kansas squad and came two outs from sweeping them and winning the Griffin Division outright.

But scoreboard watching sees the Boulevards drop their opener against Granite State, sending the Outlaws into celebrations of their second Griffin Division title.

The BDBL was rocked this week, as it learned that one of its owner had passed away. Rodney Wilkie, owner of the Western Kansas Buffaloes since 2015, was a well liked owner who passed away suddenly from a sudden cancer diagnosis. Wilkie loved the league and enjoyed rebuilding his team after taking over for Ed McGowan, who ironically also passed away from a sudden cancer progression.

After dropping their second series of the year to Bear Country after scoring just six runs, the Flagstaff Outlaws turned the tables on their next opponent, holding the Western Kansas Buffaloes to the same six runs en route to a four-game sweep.
