Outlaws falls to Furies
In what is becoming a disturbing pattern of losing to South Loop, the Flagstaff Outlaws dropped their third regular season series out four to the Furies.
During Flagstaff’s 2018 tremendous run, South Loop was only one of two teams to take a series from the Outlaws, doing it twice. But when it really counted in the playoffs, the Outlaws beat the Furies in five games during the OLDS.

Kicking of the 2018 BDBL Playoffs, the South Loop Furies and Flagstaff Outlaws started their Ozzie League Divisional Series. Despite a nearly 30-win difference between the two teams, South Loop won seven of their twelve matchups during the regular season, making this a series to watch.

The South Loop Furies held a two-game lead in a tight Benes Division race. The winner of that race will like have to face Flagstaff in the the OLDS. So a good showing in this potential matchup would help buoy South Loop’s attitude in such a matchup.
