The Flagstaff Outlaws traveled to Granite State to find an opponent whose roster was going through changes as only 23 players suited up. With a short bench and short bullpen, the Outlaws took advantage, scoring 34 runs in the series, but only managed a 3-1 series victory thanks to a rally from the Lightning in Game 3.

Anytime there is a surprising change of ownership to a BDBL franchise, there is always a period of transitioning for everyone involved. Last night Mike Reis got to take his new team out for a spin, but unfortunately, we had to take on the Flagstaff Outlaws who gave them a rude welcome.

Completing their first pass through the Butler Division, the Flagstaff Outlaws won three games from the Granite State Lightning giving them four series wins against foes from that division.
