The Flagstaff Outlaws have not lost a season series to the Bear Country Jamboree since the completion of the 2008 season. After splitting in April, the Jamboree took a big step to breaking that streak by hosting the Outlaws and proceeding to sweep them.

Wrapping up the first month of the 2019 season, the Flagstaff Outlaws need to at least split against the Bear Country Jamboree to maintain their streak of non-losing months, which current sat at 7.

After losing their first two series against Bear Country, the Flagstaff Outlaws hooked up with the Jamboree for the fourth time with a chance to still salvage a tie or win the season series with a series victory.

After dropping two series earlier in the season to the Bear Country Jamboree, the Flagstaff Outlaws hosted those Jamboree, trying to find a way to win a series. With a good lineup, decent starting pitching and a superb bullpen, it was a tough nut to crack, but the Outlaws finally managed to win that series.

It’s hard to win a series when your offense takes a nap for an entire series. In fact, the Flagstaff Outlaw pitching staff did all they could to help keep their teammates in the games, playing in three one-run games and a fourth that was a one-game until late. But the Bear Country Jamboree win another series against the Outlaws, pushing their season record to 6-2 and climbing within four games of first place.

After opening division play on a strong note, a red-hot Flagstaff Outlaws continued their homestand with another division foe, the Bear Country Jamboree. Traditionally, the Outlaws have the Jamboree’s number, but in this tight series, it was Bear Country taking control.
