Flamingos force a split against Outlaws

Flagstaff continues to tread water by struggling against decent competition, this time splitting against the Las Vegas Flamingos.

Game 1: Minor v. Wood – Alex Wood starts off by pitching six perfect innings, but Andrew McCutchen hits a lead off homer to start the seventh to end that. Jose Osuna hits a solo homer in the eighth to push Las Vegas out to a 2-0 lead.

In the bottom of the eighth, Flagstaff is able to string together four straight singles as Aaron Judge and George Springer each notch RBIs that ties the game.

The game goes to extras and Ryan Pressly ends up walking the bases loaded, the last two intentionally, but he wiggles off the hook, getting Brian McCann to fly out to end the threat.

With two outs in the bottom of the tenth, Aaron Judge connects off of Ryan Tepera to walk off the Outlaws, 3-2.
