Outlaws send Pina to Kansas

In another tersely released trade announcement, the Flagstaff Outlaws announced they were sending catcher Manny Pina to Kansas in exchange for lefty pitcher Brian Johnson.

While this move doesn’t affect the bottom line of the salary cap, it’s definitely another move that depletes the 2018 roster and puts the Outlaws into a full rebuild.

“We’ll gamble on the former top lefty prospect here. STOP.” Newgard said via telegraph. “If Pina were younger, we’d definitely have held on to him. STOP. But were are concerned about a regression and it’s a time to sell a little high here. STOP.”
